writercon_ukWell we reasoned, begged, pleaded and bribed, but still the Olympics committee wouldn't move the dates of their little get together. This is inconvenient as it could cause us difficulties with minor issues such as transport and booking the hotel. How rude.
So. Given they are unwilling to move their 'event', we are considering moving ours.
