Welcome to WriterCon UK – your community for Artists, Betas, Readers, and Writers who live in or are visitors to Europe.
We are here to provide opportunities for the virtual community to meet in real time in the UK. Everyone has a role in fandom – this is your chance to mix with people who write, create or simply appreciate the output of those who do.
We began with fans interested in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the works of Joss Whedon, and this still remains the heart of much of our fannish activity, but we have grown to include members with interests in other fandoms as well and creative fans from any fandom are very welcome to join us. Examples of fandoms include Lord of the Rings, Torchwood, Stargate, BSG, Supernatural, XFiles, Doctor Who, Being Human, Star Trek, and Merlin as well as various crossovers (Bagpuss and other Children's series).
Wherever you live, whatever your fandom, come and join the community and please tell your friends!
